Now a days, people are prone to health, fitness and weight loss. They are very conscious about their diet and losing weight. For that, they used to try new trends in order to make them fit and look charming. Research findings proved that sugar is not good for health and people are relying on sugar free products available in the market. It’s easy to go and buy the product but reading the ingredients written on the back side of the product is very crucial to know. This “sugar-free” tag is just a marketing strategy. It has nothing to do with “no sugar” rather it contains a lot. They are called as “Low-calorie Sweeteners” (LCS) but having a high amount of sugar present in it according to the research being conducted recently for example, sugar we usually intake, sugar present in fruit juices or syrups. Instead of consuming natural sugar, after getting to know that consuming too much sugar is not good for health. Therefore, in order to avoid sugar, people are directed towards sugar free products. The eatables present in the market like frozen sweets, chewing gums, toffees, chocolates, yogurt, puddings and other cereals for breakfast, people used to consume because it contains less amount of sugar in it or most probably “no sugar”. They are having them as a substitute for sugar so that they can avoid natural sugar. In this way, they can remove excess amount of fats and carbohydrates produced in their body. But these products failed to do so as it contains more amount of sugar than table sugar which people usually sidestep.
